"What am I doing up?" Kirya asked herself. Though she'd forgotten the answer.

The wind had hit her window so hard that it woke her. She then ended up on the downstairs couch.

"I should really get back to sleep....." She wipped a few strands of red hair out of her face and adjusted her glasses. Even in the dark her emrealed green eyes shown bright. She stood up after a few moments and groped around the couch for her pellow that she had brought down with her incase she had fallen asleep there. She felt a soft lump and picked it up swiftly.

Slowely, she took another step and sqinted for the stairway. Once she found it she let out a yawn and walked up the memorized number of steps.

"I have a test tomorrow.....I don't have time for this nonsence."

"Arorua....." a wisper came through her mind.

Kirya turned quickly for the sound. But heard noone. She cautiously turned back and made her way to her room.

"Must be from lack of sleep...." she concluded as she turned the handle.

The next morning the wind was just as bad the night before.

Kirya tried to tame her bushy hair with her brush. But, as always, she had to roslove to a thick braid.

As she left for school the wind seemed to follow her.

She used to be worried about it, it had started a few days before, but now she was used to it. She had figured there was some scientific reason that it just seemed to follow her and it was nothing more. That was her, putting a reason behind everything.

"Yo, Kirya." a voice called from behind and soon a hand landed on her back pack. She turned to see Sam behind her and John tailing close. Her two friends, or should she say, the olny two people at school who ever came in contact with her.

Sam was a girl who rarelly ever worried about anything and John was more of the shy type but when it came to something he was insterested in he would jump right into it.

"Oh, hello." Kirya said as Sam pulled her now purplish black hair into a loose poney tail. "I see you died your hair again?"

"Yup, I mean, I love black as much as the next person but I think a change is in order. Like they say, autum is full of changes."

"But you died it black last week... Ah, hey John."

"Good morning..." he blushed slightly and brushed some black hair from his eyes.

Sam smirked, "You two....."

"What do you mean 'you two'?" Kirya said idginatly.

"Oh, nothing...." She answered passively. "Now come on, we're going to be late."

As the three 8th graders calmly made their way to school, someone was following them.

He looked to be their age, his hair was a thick dark brown that was long in the front and short in the back. Around his waist was a loose gold belt with red buttons all around it. He pressed one of them.

"Yuri," He spoke in a quite tone, "I've found her, ready the ship." He pressed it again after a girls voice gave him the OK.

"Arorua.....I've finally found you....." He said following them at a slightly quicker pace.

----

" Sam, John, and Kirya," Their teacher said looking at them from her desk, " Late again, I see."

"Sorry...." John said shyly as he looked down at his feet.

"Yeah, yeah," Sam said annoyed, "We know we're late, can you just get it over with and give us our punishment?"

"Sam!" Kirya wisspered appaled to her friend.

"What?" Sam turned her head to her.

"None the less," Their teacher said, her voice growing slightly harder, "Clean up duty after class, take your seats."

John and Kirya took their seats in the back of class as Sam went her way to the other side of the class room.

"Looks we have another thing to worry about...." Kirya muttered to John.

"Don't worry about it, Kirya." John wispered back to her, "Just forget it, It's not like this is the first time we have clean up duty."

"Yeah, easy for you to say, you actually like clean up duty." She smirked.

John blushed, "W-what are you going on about....?"

"Oh nothing....," Kirya answered as she and the other kids stood up to say the pledge of algience.

----

It was lunch time, Kirya had gotten her pizza combo and was on her way to their table when she slipped on a puddle of water on the ground. She almost would have fallen if it weren't for the person that caught her from behind, there was a moment of stillness but Kirya's glasses had fallen off and skitted across the floor, which in turn had caused her to lose her balence and fall to the floor, knocking the person down too.

"Oww," She cried to herself as she sat up and cringed her eyes shut at the sharp pain in her back. "I'm really sorry! Are you ok?" She asked with eyes still shut.

"Of corse I'm fine, Aroura. You look much different then last I saw you!"

Kirya stopped at the sound of that voice, and at what it had called her.

"Excuse me-?" She opened her eyes hazely, "Gah, where are my glasses? I can't see a thing...."

"Here," the voice said and handed her her large round glasses, "You use those for a disugse? Ryu's are much smaller then that."

"Is that an insult?" Kirya said annoyed at the voice as her view came into focus, "And just who are you? I've never seen you here, are you knew? You certinally look it."

"What? You mean you've already forgotten me? My god, women, I was olny the love of your life!"

"What the......Ok, I think you have me mistaken for someone else, I'm fifteen and I've never been in love before.Plus my name it Kirya--"

"What are talking about? You are Aroura. Atleast I think you are. Hmmm.... you look do younger then you should be in the last five thousand years...."

"What? Are you crazy?"

The boy pulled back a few strands of brown hair from his face as she looked her over colsely.

"No, you deffentailly are her.....My ships tracking device brought me here and you look excatly like I remember." he stood up and pressed a button on his belt. At that moment the whole caffateria stood still, students and lunch attendents stopped in their tracks, The olny ones that were still mobile, atleast to Kirya's knowlage, were her and the mysterious boy.

Kirya looked up at him and gaped at what she saw surrounding her.

"wha......who....where--"

"Quite." The boy cut her off as he pressed a different button, "Yuri, I have her with me, open the hatch and I'll beam us up."

"Ok, Yumi!" A girls voice answered back.

"Right, so your name is Yumi," Kirya said, "That much I know....."

"Come on." Yumi said to Kirya and held his hand out.

Kirya looked at it, "Are....are you expecting me to go with you?" she asked apalled.

"Yes." Yumi answered simply and fillded with the buttons on his belt.

".....what do those buttons do?" she asked looking down at his belt.

He shrugged.

"What? You don't know what you're doing?!"

"Calm down, Aor--"

Kirya glared at him.

"Umm, I mean.....what do they call you here?"

"That's it." She said standing up and walking off, "I'm leaving. I'm finding Sam and John and getting out of here."

"They'll be frozen." Yumi called back to her, "the freeze ray olny effects people of non-arizen blood. So now I know you're from the planet."

Kirya kept walking, she heard his calls but chose to ignore them.

This is all just a huge prank, she thought hotly, there's no such thing as planet Arizeano or what ever the bloodly hell he called i--

But her thoughts were caught off for Yumi had pressed another button on his belt, one that let out a line of thin, unbreakable rope that wrapped itself around Kirya's wrists and pulled her back to him.
