He watches her

Distorted, through a glass filled with wine

As she dances

With another man

And laughs

At the jokes of still another

And finally, she goes home

With a third young man

While the observer

Still remains

To watch another girl

Who enchants another group of men

And one day he, too, will be enchanted

And will take a dancer home

But for now,

He sits and watches

Through a glass filled with wine.
