I rose on the dawn

As is my name

Eos.

The fields were the

Color I made the sky

Red with blood.

Red with the blood of

Trojans and Greeks

Alike.

The night had not

Faded the color

Away.

But now I faded away

Having carried my sister

On the sun.

The sun brought me

Here as is my name

Helios.

For 7 long years I

Have looked upon

Men.

Men with their swords

Clashing and shields

Falling.

As the heroes pick

Them off one by

One.

The walls of Troy in daylight

Stand like a

Mountain.

Yet so weakened by

7 years of

siege.

My time to go has come

As the moon is now

Rising.

Selene carries the

Moon on her

Back.

Blue and Full moon

As is my name.

Selene

For many years

This moon has

Risen.

Now for 7 years

On the fresh blood

Of men.

But tonight

There is a

Horse.

Wood and hollow

Although no one

Knows.

Inside the belly lies

A few men to

End the war.

To end the war

On which my sisters and I

Have seen.

Have seen for the past

7 years on this field

of Troy.

No more will we rise to the

Sky like blood to

Match the ground below.

No more will we fade

To the sound of swords

On armor.

And no more will

We come to see

Doomed cities meet their fate.

And never again

Will we see a

War like this.

For we will rise

Or fade or come

In peace.
