Storm

A storm that rages, crashes, cries,

Shredding everything in sight.

Ripping, stripping her world away,

Leaving only hopelessness in its wake.

She doesn't understand 'cause

Things were going so well.

She had everything she wanted,

But still the storm's upon her now,

And nothing will be the same,

Still she cannot understand that

It's always calm before the storm.
