Little Jenny Smith

By MoshiMoshiQueen

Jenny didn't know it

But everyone else did

While her stomach grew bigger

Everyone talked about her kid

Our whole school snickered

And whispered behind her back

She was a little naive

Despite the innocence she lacked

She didn't realize our stares

Were never really kind

She didn't hear the gossip

Nor realize that she was left behind

Because she just kept on smiling

And walking down the hall

Every Highschool girl talked about her

Every Highschool girl called

"That little freshman chick

That little Jenny Smith

The reason she keeps smiling

Is because she thinks innocent

But we all know better

We all know the truth

Instead of painting her pretty nails

She's populating this town's youth"

In the end maybe she realized

That the talk wasn't very nice

But she kept up her good spirits

Even with her body sliced

That little freshman girl

Little Jenny Smith

She's forever smiling

Even though she doesn't exist

Our words always echo

Along with all our regrets

Because we can only remember

Someone we'll never forget

I actually don't know where this came from… Guess I was thinking about life and that there are a lot of Little Jenny Smiths out there… and there are a lot of Little Jenny Smiths who do not exist anymore… kind of makes you wonder… if someone died would you be one of those people who always hear your words echoing?
