Darkness grows. It comes and goes

Haunting such a life

The sunshine comes, then fades the sun

Thus turning day to night

Every time the sun doth set

I grow a little colder

For every moment ticked away

I've grown a little older

Life it passes, brilliant flashes

Fly before mankind

And down turned smiles, seen in tiles

Mosaic in the mind

And I can't help but fear the night

Yet sob when day has come

For deep within I know that night

Will follow the bright sun

And so we pass, turning to grass

Laying silent in the ground

When breath last breathes, and last sigh heaves

Our hearts no longer pound

And in the silence Ill be happy

Happy for the end

For life it seems is a horrible dream

A curse we must transcend
