Memory is a joust match,

An endless struggle to get things done,

The actual memory is up against the memory

Of what would be cooler if it happened.

Prejudices and beliefs battle in the first bout

To taint anything that has been going on.

Early images can be persuaded to change

Due to some bribing from knowledge

That his been gained this week,

Or recently,

There are images from

And books that pop into your head,

As if with enough pull

They can slay the dragon

That is real memory.

With enough influence

The real memory

Can be overtaken,

Thrown off their horse,

And stomped into the ground,

Never to arise again
