Watching the shuttles flying past the moon and deep into infinity...
But what if one person made the decision not to go to work on time,
Then a few others skipped out that day and didn't check the oxygen line.
Well all those people up in space had no air to fill their heads...

Well, one employee was going home to crawl up in his bed.
He was gonna take some medication for the ache that plagued his head.
But then he gets a call from his friend who maintains the life support...
He was taking a toke instead of making a keystroke, now three lives have come up short!
So, another person's just called in sick! The count's now twenty-five.
In a few minutes that huge space station is gonna take a big ol' dive.
The men above are hoping and praying that everything will be alright...
Cause, you know any astronaut is a good astronaut if he doesn't die tonight!
Well, I think... That we are gonna die.

Well, no astronaut is a famous astronaut unless he dies in a flash of light!
So, the men that run the space program are pacing 'round the floor,
"If that station hits the ground the shit will hit the fan for sure!"
Then one men stood where he was and said, "Hey, here's an idea!"
And he locked the door and they all fell on the floor after a bottle of everclear!
Well I heard that the station exploded in the outer atmosphere,
But those aboard got to the door and steered the escape pod clear!
One man asked the astronauts, "Was it God, what do you believe?"
He said, "Any astronaut is a good astronaut if that astronaut isn't me!"
