Singing: "Kissing A Fool."

The piano notes float

through my hair

like a breeze

as I start to sing

my song.

The crowd

is buzzing,

zinging

with peace of mine

locked

in someone's embrace

on the dance floor.

My voice

is soft

in the darkness

and I start to sway.

I have no one here

but for once

all is fine;

myself

belongs to these people

and this song

that I'm singing.

The crowed

is nameless

but never faceless.

The lights

burn my skin

but the warmth

lightens my fear.

My words

become a kiss

for the dance floor

and everything is fast

and incomparable.

He is far

away from this

but I belong here

singing

my song

no longer afraid.

The outside world gone

and just I

with my words.
