Sweet Yet Sour Raindrops

I'm running out of breath

The water is almost too high

I don't know what to do

I should know it is only you

See the end but never the real end

You try to get me you lure me with your tricks

I give up; I've lost the strength

You see my hopes as nothing

Useless, they only get in the way

But I don't listen 'cause I can't hear

Your subtle whispers only brush my ear

Yet in my mind I know

The blank stares those eyes give me

They only reach the surface but that's enough

The pain still migrates to the heart

Then taps the unpredictable water wells

And then you see, you see

The pain, your pain

And yet another tear wasted
