Tiana Rivard -- 18

Prologue:

"Stay away from my family you bastard!" an angry male yelled, shoving at the door.

A soft glow appeared around the door, it was a shield, to shelter the house and its inhabitants from the beast on its other side. A muffled groan was heard, causing the man to lose his concentration on the shield and approach the woman on the floor, surprised and worried.

"Save the child! Don't let him have her! Please, I beg you!" She cried faintly, clearly out of energy.

A loud blast was heard and the door came flying through the kitchen. The woman muffled a cry and the man turned around, angry.

"Leave us alone!" He ordered and put up an energy wall, blocking the other man from nearing them.

I don't have much energy left. I must send Tiana away now. She'll never be immortal, but she'll be alive, and we will be stayed knowing she is ok. The man sent in his wife's mind.

She nodded in agreement, holding back tears and taking her husband's hand. Passing him her remaining energy, she fell down from her sitting position, too pained and exhausted to try sitting back up. The husband searched with his mind to connect with his 6 month old child, Tiana. I love you, Tiana. And your mother too. A loud scream pierced his concentration, his wife was being lifted in the air. Frantically looking around he found the energy wall that he had put up, gone. As quickly in distress as he could, the husband connected with his only daughter's mind once again. Concentrating all his energy on her, he felt the pain of a migraine surface before he felt light headed. He had done it, gave his child safety, and not much time to spare.

"You shouldn't be so surprised, Martin, that you are losing everything to me. I was supposed to be with Trinity, not you. Now she dies, as you do. And I will find Tiana; no one can hide from me and I will bring her to hell for all her life. Actually, maybe ill grant her to be immortally in hell." The man grinned and laughed, a cold cruel laugh.

As he had done to Trinity, the wife, he lifted up Martin with the lift of his eyes and snapped his fingers. Flames appeared out of thin air, engulfing Martin's flesh. Soft cries were heard from his body until he went limb. With an other snap of his fingers, the flames died and the body, all black and lifeless, fell to the floor. He turned on his heels and walked out the house and without turning back; he snapped his fingers, resuming his walk. The house was devoured in flames. A small grin of content crept up his lips as terrified people came rushing to see what was going on. Some walked, the able flew. None paid him any attention but they all knew who did it. Only one man was cruel enough. The devil.

I don't really have a plot line, but I read A Sinner's Debt by Freak4ever and I loved it so I had to write my story that was somewhat like it. I am NOT copying it, using the characters or anything… but the devil part yes. :) Reviews?
