Tears

Why do the tears on a face fall so slow, but run out so fast? Is it slow because your soul wants to beat up on itself, so the tears flood all over the cheeks to remind you of the pain?

Is it slow so the tears can mock you longer of how worthless you are?

Or is it so you can reminisce of past broken emotions that have come and gone with the same tears? The scars on an arm usually tell the true story…

But, why would they run out in such a hurry? Is it because of the pain that is burning so much inside that the flames force them out?

Are they afraid of being afflicted with anger or sorrow? The heart is the only one that should be afraid of such tragedy…

What could we learn from our tears? To run away from our problems, and never come back? No. If problems are forgotten, they come back with twice the sting. Should we let ourselves float away in a river of emotions so it isn't kept in a bottle wandering aimlessly in an ocean?

Frankly, my love, I don't give a damn anymore…
