"Claire," he hugged me tightly from behind.
We were standing in his backyard looking at stars. It was such a beautiful sight to see. No matter how cold it was outside, his body heat- amazingly, drew me into protection.
"Yes Mark?" I felt his lips kiss my hair. His heart too, beat just so much as mines. I wasn't scared at all. It's…well, he's my first boyfriend.
"Isn't it a bit strange how we still look like friends," he whispered in my ear, "but how perfectly normal for us to be a pair?"
I giggled. "Yes I guess so."
Then I maneuvered my hand on his cheek as our bodies swayed. Closing my eyes, his lips finally contacted my neck and couldn't leave. A sensational feeling came inside of me, a feeling I've never felt before. His poison, his love, his everything suddenly was exposed.
"I love you" he whispered, once kissing my lips.
"I love you too."

"…and that is a story of what is. We've finally admitted how much we need one another. Friendship is definitely not enough for Mark and I. We've gone through many obstacles and we're willing to go much farther than that. My story is still going. After all, it isn't yet a happily ever after. My story of what is, is still happening in the moment. So for those who give up on the idea of 'love'…please don't. You'll be amazed where love can come from."
