My life has always been bizarre and peculiar. I would always dream about the gods and the goddesses of Greek mythology. I never had that dream where I'm naked in front of my whole class, but I have always had this dream where I'm hunting with Artemis and trying to help Hera with Zeus's cheating problem. I always thought that my mind was trying to tell me that I wished I was a god or at least knew them, but unfortunately these dreams I have been having or not dreams but memories. Who would have thought that I knew the gods and was one of them.

I'm 26,still a virgin, and still single, Penelope thinks as she lookes across the coffee shop full of single good-looking men.

"Unfortunately these men were gay" she says as she looks at their stylish clothes and hair.

Why oh why god do you torture me so, Penelope thinks as she sits there plummeting in her own self pity. Usually she would blame her mother since she was the one who sent her to a all girls school up until college.Diane,her mother,tried her best to send her to a all girls college, which Penelope never knew existed, but since she was 18 she had no right over her life anymore. Why was she so determined to make sure I never was around a single male?

What was she afraid of, Penelope thought to herself. Penelope took a sip of her coffee and placed it gently back down on the table. Valentine's day was coming up or in other words "Single's Awareness Day". Cynthia was having her usual Valentine's party at her dad's club. Cynthia was Penelope's best friend which meant she had to go, but as usual she didn't have a date.

Penelope drank the rest of her coffee and put the cup in the trash. She grabs her coat off the back of her chair and puts it on while walking out the door. Its chilly outside and has started to snow. Penelope puts out her hand to catch a snowflake and watches it melt in her hand. She takes out her gloves and cap and puts it on before heading towards her car. "Oh well" Penelope says while looking for her keys" I should at least look good if I'm going alone to this party".

"Zeus Zeus" Hera yells as he searches the palace for her husband.

Yet again Hera found out Zues was messing with another woman other then her. Good thing they invented condoms if it wasn't for them there would be more offspring's of Zeus's all over the earth.

"Calm down Hera" Athena says trying to calm her down.

"How can I calm down when I know he is cheating on me again" Hera says.

" I bet he is just off with his brothers ........." Before Athena could finish her sentence Hera spotted Zues and ran after him.

"Hera what's the matter you look like you just given birth" Zues says with a smile.

"Hahahaha your so funny where have you been I have been calling you all day."

"Out with the boys" Zues says.

"Without your cell phone" Hera says as she crosses her arms.

"I turned it off cause I was tired of hearing you nagging can I have at least a little peace and quiet for once" Zues tried to walk off but Hera grabbed his arm stopping him right in his tracks.

"What's her name Zues?"

"What are you talking about Hera?"

"I wasn't born yesterday I know your cheating on me again."

Zues turns around so he is facing Hera and places his arms on her shoulder.

"You want to know the truth" he says looking her in her eyes.

"Yes please" she says.

"You remember Demeter right"

"Yes I do I talked to her yesterday and I know for a fact that she would never go with you"

"I'm not cheating on you Hera"

"I have spent the whole month trying to help her keep Hades away from her daughter Persephone" he says sitting down on the bench.

" You know eventually he is going to find her Zues" Hera says taking his hands in hers.

" I think its great you trying to help Demeter but Hades and Persephone or meant to be together."

"Isn't her mortal name Penelope though?"

"Yes it is but you have to promise you won't tell Hades about her okay" pleads Zues.

"Okay but if I find out you are cheating on me again then I'll change my mind" Hera says getting up. "That I promise you my dear husband"

The first thing Penelope hears is Black Eyed Pea's song Anxiety blasting through the speakers. As soon as Penelope enters the club she is greeted by a sight of couples dancing so close together it looked like they were having sex on the dance floor.

"Penelope there you are I was worried you weren't coming" Cynthia says from behind her.

Penelope turns around and hugs her friend. "Don't worry you know I go to your parties even though I don't want to "she says taking off her coat.

"So were is your date Penelope" Cynthia says looking around.

"You know me always single" Penelope says trying to put on a smile, but the fact was she didn't even want to be here.

The sight of all these couples was depressing to a always single woman like her. Why am I always single, Penelope thinks as she follows Cynthia to the bar. I'm not ugly I'm actually really beautiful. I have long beautiful auburn hair, green eyes that look like emeralds, good looking features, I'm tall, and skinny with a few curves. Why am I still single.

"Well we can be single together" Cynthia says.

Penelope looks at Cynthia with a look of surprise on her face. Cynthia single never in my life have I heard those to words together, Penelope thought.

"Single how is this possible." "What happened to Leonardo?"

Cynthia ordered a martini and motioned for her to sit down. Penelope sat down and ordered a long island ice tea. When the both got their drinks Cynthia told her what happened.

"He cheated on me and heacted as if it didn't matter thatI knew,the bastard" Cynthia said drowning her sorrows in her martini.

That's all she had to say ,no need for details or anything else and Penelope left it at that. Cynthia wasn't in the mood to discuss it now since today was Valentine's day and realization hit her. Cynthia really had liked this guy. Usually Cynthia dated guys just for the sex and looks for only a week then bam they were gone, but Leonardo was with her for a month. Penelope at first thought that the only reason why she still was still was with Leonardo was for the sex, but it was much much more then just sex. For the first time Cynthia looked sad and depressed. Penelope was the one who usually looked like this.

"Come on lets party" Penelope said after finishing her Long Island Ice Tea.

After a huge bottle of Vodka Penelope was drunk. In her attempt to give Cynthia a little happiness and fun she drank a whole bottle of vodka and so did Cynthia. As Penelope tried to catch a taxi she decided to do something she would never do somber. She was going to go confront Leonardo and she had no clue what she was going to say. When she finally got a taxi she gave the taxi driver Leonardo's address and started to form a plan. When the taxi driver stopped at Leonardo's apartment complex she paid the driver and got out. It was still cold out side and she realized she forgot her coat at the club. She was wearing a black miniskirt, a red halter top, a black motorcycle jacket, and a pair of your black boots. The jacket was keeping her upper body warm but her legs were freezing. She hurried into the apartment building and started to walk up the steps to unfreeze her legs. After tripping over a few steps in her intoxicated state she finally reached Leonardo's floor. She knocked on Leonardo's door.

"Who is it" someone said from inside.

"Its Penelope" Someone opens the door and the first person you see isn't Leonardo. Hot, sexy, fine are words that weren't quitegood enough to describethis guy. Never in her life hadshe seen a man like this only in her dreams. Short jet black hair tall, depended on the way his upper body filled out his black shirt quite muscular but not to much, dark blue eyes that seemed black, and very good looking. He leaned against the door and looked her up and down.

"Who are you" he says in the most sexist voice Penelope has ever heard.

If it wasn't for Leonardo Penelope would have forgot why she was here and drooled all over the floor.

"Penelope what are you doing here" Leonardo says coming from behind the guy you were drooling over. Penelope pushed the guy out of the way and walked inside.

"How dare you" she says pointing her finger at Leonardo. "You had no right to do that to Cynthia" she says.

The guy who is still nameless closes the door behind her.

"This is none of your business Penelope go home" Leonardo says walking off. Penelope calls his name and he stops.

"If I were you I wouldturn back around" she says.

You hear the guy from behind you smirk and turn around and glare at him.

"It is my business Cynthia is like a sister to me and I'm not going to let a asshole like you do something like this to her" you say turning around.

"Do you think that you can get away with something like this would a few consequences" Penelope says. She grabs one of the vases from the shelf in the hall way and throws it to the ground.

"Penelope stop are you fuckin drunk that vase was very expensive."

"Yes I'm" she says smiling. She grabs another vase and throws it to the ground.

"Hector stop her before she destroys anything else" Leonardo says pleadingly. Before she could smash anything else Hector grabs her waist and puts her over his back.

"Put me down"she says pounding your fist on his back.

"I'll take her home I'll see you tomorrow okay" Hector says to Leonardo.

"Okay bye" Leonardo says trying to fix what is left of his expensive vases.

"Put me down" she screams.

"I'll do that after we get outside who knows what you would do if I put you down now" he says. Before she could say anything else her head hit something and she blacked out.
