Harmony For Strings
By: Kuroi-Hoshi

the widow climbs the translucent string
that glows with the morning's dew
the moth flies unaware

ensnared by the thread
the capture is swift
as the widow sinks
it's poisoned fangs into
the moth

blood unseen seeps from the wound
and falls like rain to the ground unnoticed
by us as we walk by brushing harshly against
the widow and the dead moth
we disrupt the dance of life
and here the fall

(now strewn upon the forest ground)
