Face Contortions

Warning: Although I already said in the summary that this is SLASH, here's a reminder again. This is SLASH, more specifically boyxboy. There will be lemons in the future as I see fit, but as of now it's just introduction. This is not a PWP. Other that, read and review!
Chapter One: The Smile That Wasn't a Smile
All he did was turn his head and gave me one of his sickening cocky smiles and I knew I should have stayed in bed and faked sick that morning. My heart was beating rapidly as if it wanted nothing more but to fly out of my chest and ricochet all across the dull gray walls of the classroom. I lowered my eyes and bit my lip, shuffling quickly to my seat near the front.
It was just a damn smile.
Not even a real smile either, but more like a cunningly evil smirk that was the forewarning to something really, really horrible happening to you. After all, he was the one and only Erik Sanchez of Sanchez County, California.
So why did he have to be so damn hot? His hair – it was a plain dark brown cut in the fashion that most boys had it today (with short, almost spiky bangs in the front), and it wasn't gelled. His skin is a light shade of brown – a couple of shades lighter than his hair. And his eyes – they were brown as well – it reminded me of cappuccino with a swirl of caramel on top. He was pretty tall too, his head being only a few inches shorter than the door outside of this classroom. He had a nice build without being overly grotesque as well… but his lips. They were a warm chocolate-cherry color that seemed to be the door to his soul. His brown eyes told nothing, but by the way his lips would twitch or move, you can tell exactly what he was feeling.
I felt something else twitch in my pants as I growled at myself for thinking of the bastard again. He was probably going to duck my head down the toilet or something anyways, by the looks of that smile – no, smirk – he gave me just a few minutes ago.
"Caleb?" a voice floated into my hazy brain as I stared at the intricate designs that years and years of aging formed on my desk. I frowned, and growled slightly, not looking up.
"Mr. Freed! Will you please pay attention during class?" the voice above me snapped, and giggles interrupted throughout the classroom. I jerked up, shock evident on my expression as the face of my teacher swam into view. I blushed furiously, hating the attention I was receiving, as I looked up nervously.
"Caleb, Caleb, Caleb…" my teacher, Mr. Boons, sighed, giving me a pained look, which instantly let guilt wash over me, "Please get out your homework."
I nodded, quickly rummaged through my backpack and in the processes spilling out a variety of other materials, leading the class to erupt into more giggles. I lowered my eyes once more, grateful when Mr. Boons finally started the lecture, distracting the other's attentions.
As soon as class was over, I ran out the door.
The embarrassing situation that happened 30 minutes ago still lingered on my cheeks as I ran to an unoccupied wall in the school to catch my breath, hoping, praying, that no one would disrupt me.
No such luck.
A figure was looming over me. I shut my eyes in a weak attempt to convince my brain that no one, especially not him, was there, but to no avail. Seeing as we started playing together ever since we were just toddlers, I could smell whenever he got near. His unique smell of cinnamon and caramel could give me a hard-on alone, and this was not the time to be extremely uncomfortable, seeing as I had an exam next period.
"Well, well, look who's here. It's Caleb, the resident geek," Erik smirked. I was used to it already, but it did not help me from opening my eyes out of pure rebellious spirit and sent him a death glare that would usually send others running, but of course it had no effect what-so-ever on the idiotic, annoying, and helplessly sexy torturer of mine.
"At least I have a brain!" I snapped back, lying between my teeth. He was a straight-A student and had one of the highest GPA's at the school. But then, he knew I wasn't the ultimate geek; it was just that I was the only one that he ever paid attention to. Sometimes, I wish my mother never met his mother at aerobics. It would have saved me from a whole lot of pain.
His creamy brown eyes narrowed, and took my shoulder and shook it roughly. I winced in pain, pushing back at him. Make him go away… just make him go away. I couldn't afford being late to class again. I already had detention three times a week for an hour and I really didn't want to stay at the school for another two days.
The bell rang.
Too late, I guess. Erik dropped my shoulder and I sunk into the ground, head slamming sickeningly against the concrete walls. He gave me one last sexy, and completely infuriating, smirk before strolling off towards his next class… which happened to be the same class I was supposed to be in right now taking a test. But did Erik ever get in trouble for being late? No… NEVER.
Sighing slightly at the injustice and rubbing the back of my head in an attempt to sooth the throbbing pain, I stood up and walked stiffly to my next class. I was, of course, reprimanded again as I was told to sit down and hurry up and take the test. Sighing, I stole a glance at Erik before settling down to take the test.
He was still smirking, that twisted, cocky grin on his face.
I knew I should have stayed in bed that morning.
A/N: This is my first fic I ever posted, so comments and suggestions would help a LOT. Hehe, reviews are awesome… anyways, Sanchez County is something I made up. I don't know if it's there or not, so I just made it up. This story will be told from Caleb's point of view. This IS slash, more specifically boyxboy love, so watch out. I don't mind flames about the style I write it, just flames that insult me because I write slash just infuriates me… uh… yeah. Hehe, hope you liked it. And remember… review and make me happy!
