They had both fallen asleep on the couch that night. Of course Shinji had made himself more comfortable while Yin was sleeping. Outside the sun shone with birds singing. It was about 8:00 am when a loud pounding was heard on the door. Shinji got up, fixed Yin on the couch, an answered the door with messy clothes, hair an half open, sleepy eyes.
"You want to die?!"
"Father please... it's too earky an Yin's still sleeping," Shinji lazily answered with a yawn.
"You know you will die soon if you don't get her blood! Then what?! There won't be an heir to the throne!" he yelled, he suddenly looked at Yin who was sitting up and wide-eyed, mouth slightly open in awe. Shinji saw the expression on her face.
"Yin...I....Please...," Shinji studdered. She ran upstairs and into her room locking the door.
"You had to say it didn't you?" Shinji said.
"How was I suppose to know you hadn't told her yet!" Shinji closed the door, walked upstairs and knocked on Yin's door, his father had left.
"Go away!" Yin yelled.
"Yin please..."Shinji started.
"I said go away you vampiric freak!"
"Just let me in please"
"No! I was chased by that guy and now they tell me your the one I have to give my blood to!"
"Look I wasn't going ot make you give up your blood to me," Shinji said calmly.
"Liar! Your all alike! You go only for blood! You don't care who you bite!" Yin yelled.
"I promise I won't bite" he sighed, Yin sat there crying.
Yin sat there all day, not eating anything.
"Yin please eat something," Shinji said through the door.
"No, not from you, for all I know you could drought me then bite me!"
"Don't you think I would've done that already if I wanted to bite you?"
"I told you, i'm not going to bite you unless you say I can," he sighed. She opened the door, not making eye contact but looking at the floor.
"I shouldn't care really since you took care of me...,"Yin said.
"Just please eat," he said, she nodded. They walked downstairs, sat down at the table and ate dinner that Shinji had prepared. While he cleaned up Shinji put a white envelope on the table.
"What's this?" Yin asked.
"The money you gave me, I don't want it"
"But it's for me to stay," she watched as he walked and sat down across from her.
"I don't need or want it, it's true that I am the heir but only one person is made for me," she looked up at him.
"Me?" she asked.
"Yes," he nodded.
"I don't ant to be bitten, please," she pleaded.
"Im not biting you, but I think it's time you've learned the truth."
"The truth? Like that guy said?" Yin asked.
"No, he lied, he didn't know, but first. do you really want to know the truth?" she noded," ok...the truth is, you were born, we told your parents that you were the chosen one, so they abandoned you to kill themselves."
"But why?" she asked.
"They didn't want to see you with us, and thought they had to contribute things. We couldn't raise you but we found two people who'd take care of you. We told them you were created inly so they wouldn't fall in love with you and commit scuicide, we hated what we did to your parents, I'm sorry," he touched her hand.
"It's not your fault," Yin said sadly.
"We told the two people that you'd move out when you were fifteen, now that you are, you're going to stay with me, if you want to leave, i'll get you an appartment," he hoped that she'd say no.
"No," she shook her head, "I'll stay."
" That's most of it but i'll ask now, please just a small bite of your blood, if not let me know when I can ok?" she stared at him and nodded.
"If you told me in the beginning I might've understood, but you kept it from me."
"I know I shouldn't have, but the way you acted with Tomi, I didn't think you'd trust me."
"When we first met, that was Tomi, he didn't know the story sorry I forgot to add that."
"Oh, so he was picking me up?" Shinji nodded,"If I had some warning or something, I probably would've gone."
