A dark valley appears
Within the hidden realms of my mind
Filled with innocence and warmth
This valley grows in strength
I see
A child is playing quietly
Left to wander within the confines of her home
Speaking softly to the darkness
This child is tempted by power
I fear
Within this valley lies a power
A power to manifest thoughts into actions
But this power is too great for one to handle
Yet this child creeps closer
I run
I try to protect this girl
Who unknowingly gives up her truthful virginity
She reaches out a hand
And calmly fingers the power held
I fail
She is transformed now
Into a demon, a monster of the unknown
A sweet innocence has faded away
And I cry, knowing I have failed myself
