Chapter 15: Epilogue

A girl with shoulder length black hair ran around the lush green courtyard, the pointy, dew-soaked grass brushing against her ankles as she sped away from a boy with black hair with red streaks. He was shouting obscene curses at her, but she was just laughing as she ran away.

Suddenly, she tripped over her own pretty blue gown, and she fell over, her face landing right in a puddle of muck. The boy stopped before her, slightly panting. She raised herself up and looked at the boy. Her pale face was dripping with brown mud and her hair was dirtied. Her once clean gown was grass stained and the mud had made a permanent stain.

The girl stared despairingly at it, knowing she was going to get in trouble for this.

The boy stared at the girl for a minute, before falling on the ground. He started rolling on the grass, holding his stomach, laughing hysterically. The girl stood up and peered down at him, her lips producing a frown. That only laughed harder, and tears spurted from her eyes. The girl turned red with fury and her hands balled into tight fists. The young youth kept laughing harder and harder, until he was slightly panting. The powerful fists that the girl had made clenched even more tightly so that the knuckles turned white. They started to tremble with the need for the unbearable pain to the boy.

"Oh my god, haha! You are not Princess Melody! You are Princess Mud face!"

That was it. The girl's, or Princess Melody's control snapped, and she swung her fist with force into the lad's stomach. The boy doubled over and groaned softly in pain.

The princess smiled triumphantly at the boy.

"Now who is strong, dear Prince Darian?"

Suddenly the prince's expression of anger and pain rippled and the prince's true feelings showed. He smirked, and quickly swept his feet over the grass, and Melody fell, landing on the puddle again with a splash on her buttock.

"What was that for?!" Melody asked angrily, just barely suppressing her true rage.

"Payback."

Melody grinned, her anger momentarily forgotten. They had been forced to stay together by their parents for whatever reason to get "acquainted". The "acquainting" consisted of violent punches, kicks, and whatever more. The last laugh, or so it seemed, ran with Melody, who had kicked him in his…erm…place, and had run away before he could retaliate.

After her little reverie, her fury flared again, full blast.

Prince Darian had been stupid enough not to run away, and Melody was about to launch a surprise attack when the sky suddenly flashed a vibrant red. The clouds turned a pitch black, and dark lightning flashed in the sky. But as soon as this had appeared, it was gone in a flash.

The two royals blinked at each other, as perhaps the other had a notion of what had just happened. Finally overcoming shock and surprise, they both rushed into the castle not far away from them, eager to tell their parents about what they had just witnessed.

Looks like once again the world needs the two, never ending lovers to save them!

Yes, crummy ending, I know, but I couldn't think of anything else. Well, see ya….or not…By the way, I don't think there is going to be a sequel to this. Sorry, hehe….But who knows? I might change my mind. By the way, THANK YOU ALL MY REVIEWERS!
