A Word, Please?
Hopefully is rarely a word
Spoken by the hopelessly absurd
Just as Angeline conferred
With the young one she had lured
To discuss the clarity of such a word.
Many things have oft occurred
While discussing the long suffering word
Of vagabonds and ostensibly furred
The meaning is such, I have concurred
Who dares defile the darling word?
The mirror's surface is sometimes blurred
When the maidens soothingly purred
That the quest for that perfection was heard
Is all so pathetically absurd
But, what can we do without that word?
