A red angel wakes from beneath the horizon
Running out, she comes to play
A smile lights up the dawn
Her laughter brings life back into the world

She comes out, this wondrous creature
And opens my eyes to the beauty within
I realize now, I am not trapped
The binding chains have somehow disappeared

I am free, free to run wildly
Through green meadows, screaming
Into the arms of the one whose dance
Can seduce me into a peaceful state

And I turn back to look at the angel
But she is gone, gone to help others
Shrugging, I turn back to vindication
And fall into the sweet sugars of tranquility
