Hold On
by Kevin Mason

Hold on tight.
Someday we'll get back into the light.
Hold on tight.
Everything is going to be alright (in the end).

Look into my eyes,
And you will see the lives
Of everyone that shares your pain.
That shares your pain.

I know this life is hard to live,
But you have something more to give
Than the emptiness you feel inside.
So please don't runaway and hide.

The wind carries the smell of incense,
But don't let down your defense (quite yet).
You never know who's hiding just around the bend,
So keep your guard up until the bitter end.

Hold on.
Don't ever give up.
Hold on.
Keep your guard up.
Hold on.
Don't give in.
Hold on.
We can still win (this fight).
Hold on.
And maybe someday we'll find our way
Out of this night and into the day,
So hold on tight.

Though the odds are stacked against you,
And you don't know what to do,
You'll find a way out of this place
And I'll forget all of your mistakes.

This is not the end
This just the beginning, my friend.
But I know that if you never give in,
Someday you're going to win.

Hurting yourself doesn't help anyone;
It'll just condemn you when it's all said and done.
So keep on living this tough life
And drop that God-forsaken knife!

Hold on.
Grab your nothing and hold it tight.
Hold on.
I can see the light.
Hold on.
It's up ahead at the end of this tunnel.
Hold on.

No one ever said it's fair,
No one ever said it's going to be easy,
And one day we'll get there,
But right now I'm just beginning to see.

Hold on to me and I'll try to save you!
Hold on and maybe we can reach the end!
Hold on to my hand!
Hold on tight.

This is not the end.
Reach out and grab my hand,
And maybe I can save you.
Maybe I can help you.

I really think that things were meant be this way,
And hold onto hope and maybe someday
Things will go our way,
And we won't need to runaway.

Hold on tight.
I'm here to help you.
Hold on tight.
I think I know what we should do.
Hold on tight.
The end is near,
But it's not yet here,
So hold on tight.

Hold on to me and I'll try to save you!
Hold on and maybe we can reach the end!
Hold on to my hand!
Hold on tight.

I really think that things were meant be this way,
And hold onto hope and maybe someday
Things will go our way,
And we won't need to runaway.
Won't need to runaway
Anymore. . . .
