For Her

I found it in the park,

Right by her old apartment.

The trees and bushes,

Flowering,

Emitting a soothing feminine scent.

The greenery reeked of jasmine

It drenched the air with syrupy sweetness.

Moss grew,

Mushrooms clumped together on a log

In waves.

Graceful birds,

Majestic in their actions,

Share a nest.

She'll like it here.

No noise to disrupt her rest.

I'll take her here at night.

And show her how lovely the ground smells,

How cool and refreshing it is,

And how much it wants her to stay.
