Decided to do something more lighthearted for a change... enjoy.

Cake and Cookies

The little boy from down the street came to visit me,
A little dear
A delight I'm sure
A cuddly little pea.

The young child came to my door,
A small lad of three or four,
Armed with cake and a batch of cookies.
"Lookie mam, cake and cookies"

Being the kind old maid I am,
I invited in little Sam.
Taking him to the kitchen table
Eating cookies and telling fables.

Pretty soon it was getting late
We would continue this at a later date.
Walking little Sammy back,
Returning home and hitting the sack.
