Your life's eye

Life is something we take like a breeze,

Full of commotion and things to see.

But stop!

Take a rest and breathe,

Fill your lungs and appreciate the unseen.

Around you the world goes on and on,

But open your eyes look at the things beyond.

Little moments we take for granted,

Extinguished by technical advances.

Open your senses!

Look past your T.V screen,

Touch textures other than polythene.

You may think that I am a dreamer and these things insignificant,

But remember this when you scoff and laugh,

Life only comes once so take it with a vice like grasp.
