Naught hath Faded

Pardon me if you will,

For I have something to tell,

Something on life I should speak

We met in May

-Friends' we'd say.

Now in a week that seemed a month

-Or was it a month that seemed a week?

Truly I cannot say.

So it was,

Something hath faded away.

Day's were long

No longer holding that same old song

No longer feeling right

-But wrong.

Long past I learned

A kiss

Held no bliss

A touch

Was only such.

Pondering this I've learned much.

Naught hath faded

For naught there was.
