I know one or two guys have the guts to read this. This chapter is dedicated to you few. Or rather, I wrote it for you. No, I'm going to write it for you. I don't know. I hope I touch base with your brains. Well ... yeah. I wish more guys would read this. It's not girly. ... I don't think. And excuse my language. This is a topic I feel strongly about.

I was in Extended Study (which is, like, a study hall for the whole school at the same time) and my friend sitting next to me was watching a music video--Britney Spears, of course.

No, it wasn't "Hit Me Baby One More Time." That, I can't complain about. It's about a slutty high-school girl. So what? There are plenty of them at my school.

Joke. Haha. Laugh, please.

But no, I'm not one of 'em.

Anyways, my bud (I won't put his name in here; he might be embarrassed, or George will go after him) was watching this new Brit video. I thought, "Okay, he's a guy. He can watch that. I don't want to, but he can." Well, I looked over at the screen, you know, like, "Urrgh, what did she do now?" And at first, I was like, "Okay, she's dancing in her undies. Doesn't she always?"

Whatever. So I turned back to my own screen and started writing or surfing. I didn't really think anything of it.

But then, after a few minutes, I thought, "WAIT!" See, Britney Spears might be Britney Spears, you know, that slut who's going to take over society; the girl upon whom society is based. But she has no right to demote girls.

I think it's great that she's got a body and she can sing and dance and run around in underwear. But you know, since society's always watching her, guys are watching her, too, and I dunno--you probably think, "Oh, she's so hot and sexy because she wears her underwear in public."

Hey, that sounded wrong. I think girls should. But--oh, okay, what I'm getting is that she wears it as clothes.

But no, you shouldn't think that! Well, you can think what you want about that whore, but she's practically a prostitute. She's prancing around half-naked, dancing like a gorilla, putting out the image of girls inaccurately.

I think she tends to portray us girls as slaves and ... well, slaves for men. Well, I'll tell you, I'm not a slave for anyone. Even her music. I mean, she doesn't write it, but ... it's so inappropriate.

I dunno. I think I might be sticking up for something overly defended, but, man. I feel strongly about this issue.

So ... yeah. I've got writer's block now.

But remember: just because Britney's a slut, doesn't mean we all are. I mean, some of us are, and will admit it, but don't drool over Britney if you want a girlfriend any time in the future. The sad truth is that, while you're expressing your interest in girls, you're also showing that you want a slut, and unfortunately, there are few of us as special as that girl.

Ooh, sorry, I shouldn't be judging her. It's just ... I'm judging her image.
