Inside the dark,

You woke my heart,

Which slept an eternity.

You were a fire,

That burned with a loving passion.

Had no hatred,

Just a pure happiness.

It burned my heart,

Bringing back a devoted passion,

Red flames that now comsume,

Where they once never did.

You bloomed like a red rose,

Letting all cherish its value,

Like a plague attacking our hearts.

And all I wanted to do was say thank you.

It just didn't click in my head.

Until finally, the days went by, as the fire in me,

Rised like the sun.

And your thank you arrived.
