In the silent night,
I sit,
alone,
in my room,
wishing for you.
Soundless footsteps echo
as you enter.
I feel your gaze
upon my back
and turn
to see your
ghostly figure.
We embrace,
and a single tear
falls down my face
as I feel your warmth fade
to coldness
and,
too soon,
nothing.
And I sit once more
alone,
in my room.
