Whisper

How we long for nights like these

Where time seems to freeze

In the chilly midnight air

And we have nothing to do

But hold each other tight

In a warm, tender embrace

But as I strain to pull you closer

You push me away

Denying my embrace

Finally you dare to do it

Your hand hits my face

Why?

What did I ever do?

The cold air finally wraps around me

Darkness soon surrounds me

Bit my bit it all goes black

I expected a tear to fall

A sign of forgiveness from you

But no

I hear your eery laugh

You bend down slowly

And whisper something in my ear

What is it?

You say it again

It's finally clear

It's all your fault

That whisper is the last thing I hear
