Crimson clouds cover a smiling sun
I take a deep breath
A demon slowly awakes
Filled with wrath
Threatening to murder the only one
That gets in its way to tranquility
But I raise my head
No blood shall be spilt tonight.
Crimson fades into a dull gray
And the sun hides
But this strange peace
Is still better than savage war
The demon inside is controlled
When it closes its eyes
To a restless sleep
All is calm and quiet on the southern front.
