The Dancer

Swift and sleek,
I dance in the air,
Then plunge down.
I flirt with the waves,
Leaping, spiraling, dancing.

Beautiful and elegant,
I dart through the waves with grace.
Sparkling above is a life-giving sphere.
Happily, I go after it,
Leaping, spiraling, dancing.

Playful and loving,
We play games with a piece of seaweed.
Laughing together,
We chase after each other with ease,
Leaping, spiraling, dancing.

I am a dancer,
In a world where waves cascade down like waterfalls,
Where in the depths are mysterious things.
But I have been here for eternity,
Always leaping, spiraling, dancing.
