Freefall

The trees are shedding.

Gravity is grabbing hold.

The leaves are falling.

They're taking flight,

They're in freefall,

They're weightless.

Air resistance is pushing

The leaves back up to where

They came from.

Just before it reaches the ground,

The leaf reaches terminal velocity.

Touch down.

Now it starts all over again.

Another leaf, another place.

I had to write a poem for my science class, using certain words about gravity. I hope you like it. Please review.
