I thought this story up while doing PE. I don't know how it came into my head but ah well. Hope you all enjoy it.

"Mom"… "I'm scared mom. Where are you? I need some reassurance." Cried the little boy. He was alone, cold in the dank dark of his room.

"Help me mom. I'm scared."

His room was cold at night. Not as in, the cold of winter as in, a chill, an evil cold. The sort of chill you get when you're scared.

"Help me mom."

His mom replied.

"You'll be fine son. Don't worry about a thing. Just tell off the thing that scares you."

It was now an hour since his mom replied.

"Mom. I'm scared mom."

The light's had now flicked on the landing. They vanished.

"Mom…" He said in an innocent and scared voice.

"I'm scared mom. Can you come in and make me feel better?"

"You'll be fine. Like I said. Just tell off whatever's scaring you." Replied the mother.

Another two hours passed and he was still at it.

"Help mom." He shouted. He sounded more frightened than he before.

His mom thought maybe, maybe she should help him.

It's not a bad Idea.

The mom walked down the corridor. It was a dark place to be. It didn't feel right. Even mom was scared now. Shadows loomed. Thump. What was that? The cat.

He jumped off the table.

Now entering the room, it was really gloomy. You couldn't get past the chill the sense of evil lurking in every fibre of the room. Then she looked at her child. Wait, his eyes were gleaming yellow. Maybe it was the cat again. The mouth opened.

"Mom. Help me mom. I'm scared mom."

It was her child.

"Don't worry son, I'll help you." She walked closer to her kid. Creeping. The room seemed like an endless corridor that you can't escape from. Nothing was scarier than what was going on at this moment.

Creak. Creak. Creak. Creak.

"MOM! HELP ME! I'M SCARED!" He yelled t the top of his voice. It was a lot deeper. And it got deeper as she closed in on her boy.

"Don't worry son. I'll turn on your nightlight and give you a big hug."

"MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! HELP ME! I'M TERRIFIED! HELP ME MOMMY!"

Her mom reached the light.

"I'm going to turn on your light and when I do, you'll be able to see."

"Okay mom." The voice was extremely deep for the boy. He was five. And it was deeper than a fully-grown man.

Flick. The light turned on.

"OH MY GOD! MY BOY! MY DARLING BOY! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU! YOU'RE NOT MY SON! HEEEEELP!"

She turned off the light. The door closed.

Morning didn't come, for both of them.

I hope you all enjoyed that. Please R&R.
