JORDAN'S POV:

Matthew comes lunging at me. What a silly, silly man Matthew is. I merely raise my hand and he is flung back. Katherine screams out and all I can do is smile. She has no idea…Matthew climbs back up to his feet. I can tell he isn't going to give her up without a fight.

"Ha ha Matt I enjoyed fucking your toy, remind me to cause her so much torment and allow you to watch." I smirk and watch Katherine glance up at me. Ha ha, her eyes oh her eyes, they are stricken with such pain. And needless to say, I am enjoying every fucking moment of it…what's the point of love without pain?

Katherine's POV:

My darling Matthew has come to save me. I see the look of anger in his eyes as he comes at Jordan full force. But, Jordan is quick, he raises his hand and in an instant, my love Matthew is flung into the wall. My eyes fill with tears and I rush over to his side. I look at Jordan's face and he is…smiling?!?! How can this be? He lifts his hand again and shackles appear on Matthew's arms and legs.

"Now Matthew, you don't want anything to happen to your sweet toy now do you?" He said coming up behind me.

"Leave her alone…you motherfucker." Matthew chokes out. Jordan is draining is life force from him, I can tell. He comes up by Matthew and raises his hand in the air and his claws get longer and just as he is about to strike, I know I have to make a move…fast.

Jordan's POV:

"Jordan STOP please, I'll do anything, just don't hurt Matthew! Please I'm begging you! I'll do anything!" She grabs onto my leg and begs. A smile forms upon my face.

"Anything Katherine, are you sure about that?" My eyebrows raise and my smile enlarges.

"Jordan don't you…"

"Silence you foolish Matthew!" He shocks Matthew with a lightning bolt and it makes him become unconscious.

"Please Jordan stop." She cries and falls to her knees in a begging form. I see her tears splash the ground.

"Minions…take Matthew into the prison chamber while I have my way with the girl."

Katherine's POV:

I have to save Matthew. I'd do anything for Jordan if he would stop hurting Matthew. He told some sort of minions to take Matthew to the prison chamber. Two huge things appeared and my eyes opened wide with terror. Before I knew it, I was holding unto Jordan's leg for dear life. They had huge black wings, brown skin that had many rough spots, there faces oh my god their faces. Black beady eyes and long fangs and just it made me sick. Before I knew it, they were gone, taking Matthew with them and I felt Jordan laugh.

"Oh please don't hurt Matthew. Ha, you are going to be in worse pain then him I can guarantee you this." He said picking me up by my hair. I realized something at that moment, I figured out why he was so heartless and cruel. The only way he could be that mean is because he has never felt love. I decided to try something and I could only hope it would work…

Jordan's POV:

Katherine hugs me. She falls into my arms and wraps her arms around me resting her head against my chest. Before I know it, my arms are around her. What is she doing and why? It dawns on me I have never felt this way before and all the awful things I was about to do to her…seemed to disappear. Matthew is a very lucky fellow, having her. Sure, he didn't think so at first, but now it's different. He really choose a beautiful wonderful girl and to think I raped her… have I no soul?

"Katherine…I'm so sorry for…"

"It's ok. I forgive you." She whispers softly and rubs my back softly with her hands. I don't want to let her go…I don't want to give her back to Matthew but I know I must and it kills me so.

"Katherine…promise me this. I will let you go back to him but promise to stay in touch, tell Matthew I'm sorry." I kiss her cheek softly and let her go.

"Minions…let Matthew out." I watch Katherine run to the prison chamber and feel tears form in my eyes.

Matthew's POV:

I am being shaken. I open my eyes and see Katherine over me.

"Katherine…did he harm you?"

"No, I convinced him to let us leave. Let's go." I stand up and fall back down, I am still in pain.

"Are you all-right Matthew?" She asked coming to my side.

"Yes, let's go, hope on my back and I will fly us home." We leave and begin the journey home. We arrived home about two hours later.

"Matthew…do you want me to fix you something to eat?" She asked in her loving tone.

"No…I'm fine, I just need rest." I was tired from the trip. I go to our bedroom and change into shorts and curl up underneath the covers. Then…I feel her presence…

Katherine's POV:

I didn't know Matthew spent two hours flying her just to save me. When we got home, I offered to fix him something to eat and he said no, he just wanted to rest. I watched him go to our bedroom and get into shorts and curl beneath the covers. I missed lying beside him so I went to my old room and grabbed a nightgown and pulled my hair back. I went into our bedroom and lay beside him. He turned over and faced me.

"I'm so sorry that he…and I couldn't stop him." He said stroking my cheek.

"It's ok, I'm just glad to be back with you." He pulled me in close and kissed my nose.

"I love you Katherine, I don't know what I would do without you." I smiled and kissed his lips.

"Well, I don't know what I would do without you." He laughed.

"I want you to be with me forever."

"I will…remember the curse you put on me? Though, it isn't a curse anymore." We both laughed. I turned over and he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Tell me what shall we do tomorrow?" He asked.

"Let's go to the yearly fireworks festival and see the lights."
