John the Killer

John the Killer

He killed he slaughtered

He maimed he murdered.

He was a killer but he is no longer.

He was young and reckless.

Smart and witty

Kind and Generous

No one would suspect him.

He was a killer but he is no longer

He had a lover.

Her name was Janet

As cute and kind as could be.

She loved him as much as a moth loves flame.

He was a killer but he is no longer.

One night he snuck out,

In the dead of night.

Poor Janet thought he cheated her.

She followed in the dark.

Oh the horrors she did see.

He was a killer but he is no longer.

She went back home and waited

Waited in the dark.

Within her hand she held a pistol.

Waited with a cold heart.

He was a killer but he is no longer.

He opened the door.

As quiet as a mouse could be.

Covered in a blanket of crimson he was.

He was a killer but he is no longer.

She shot him once,

She shot him twice.

And just for good measure

She shot him thrice.

He was a killer but he is no longer.

She threw his body into the sea.

She threw the gun into the tree.

She made up a story of how he had to leave.

No one would suspect…

That John was a killer.
