I am Master of the Night
Whom men doth love and hate
My presence shrouds all light
Your life I will soon take

Now I stand before you
Scythe grasped in hand
My face is filled with sorrow
You were poisoned by the land

An invitation I offer thee
To be with those you've lost
But this true peace does come with a fee
Your life is what it costs

Your mind was made before I came
I've seen your life of pain
Your choice to live is without blame
To comfort your true dame

These choices come to often now
At this dire time of reckoning
From death to which our bodies bow
To life, our souls beckoning

I personally like this type of portrayel of Death - not one who rips a dying persons soul out, but one who gives the person the choice between life and death. So, what do you think?
