A/N: Second story. This might go on to a very long story. I wrote this with another friend of mine. Hope you enjoy this.
An Angel's Destiny
Destiny moaned and turned around. She had work late last night at the cafe in order to pay for her living. She didn't want to wake up but something caused her to open her eyes. The first thing she saw was a mass of black hair. Her eyes were as wide as saucerplates. There was silence and then...
...a high pitch scream broke through the wave of silence. She stopped screaming after seven minutes. She gasped for air. What would you do if you screamed for seven minutes straight? Destiny observed him. He had black hair and pale green eyes. How she knew what color her eyes were when they were closed, I don't know. The two things that caught her attention was the fact that he was naked and that he had white feathered wings. She was about to scream again when the boy grabbed her and snuggled up to her. Don't worry. The covers were separating the two. Before Destiny could even speak, the boy had let go of her and woken up. He stood up and now he suddenly had clothes on.
"Who the hell are you?!" he exclaimed.
"Who the hell are you!?" Destiny yelled back.
"I asked you first!" argued the boy.
"Well why should I tell you anything!?" Destiny argued back. "You were in my bed!"
Then he took out a sword that appeared out of no where and pointed it at her.
"Tell me before I slash you open."
"Well my name is Destiny. Now, GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ME!"
He lowered the sword. "I'm Jeremy. Do you know where I am?"
"Well, you're at my house." Destiny answered.
"I know that. Why else would you be there sleeping." he snapped.
"Well, for all you know, this could be your house." Destiyn snapped back.
"I wouldn't take some girl home with me." Jeremy argued.
"Well, I'm not some girl. I have a name you know. And are you implying I took you home?"
"If you did take me home, I would have just left right away."
"What are you saying?"
Jeremy ignored her and looked out the window. "I'm on Earth, right?"
"Duh. Where else?"
"Shut up. I live in Heaven so how should I know."
"Well...well...oh shut up. What do you know anyway?"
"I know you are having troubles trying to get the guy you want at school." he said with a smirk.
"If you know everything, then what's his name?" Destiny asked.
"I never said I know everything and his name is Eddie."
"Oh my God! How do you know such things?" Destiny said in disbelief.
"God has a profile on you and he is not yours."
"It's just an expression, you know."
"I know and you should really learn how to cook." Jeremy said, looking around the room. The messy room.
"How do you know about my cooking skills? Was it in the profile?"
"It was in the profile and there are take-out boxes everywhere."
"If you know so much about me, why don't you tell me something about yourself?"
"I'm an angel who is working for God. I never had any love problems and I have a younger and older sister back at home."
"How can you never have love problems?! Are you a love god?"
"No. My best friend is the love god. He is currently after my older siser."
"Oh God this is creepy."
"So...why are you here?"
"How should I know?! If I knew why I was here, I wouldn't ask you if this is Earth now would I."
"Maybe you are here to fall in love with my beauty." and she added a fake evil laugh at the end. Then she coughed twice after.
"Yeah right. What beauty?" Jeremy mocked.
Destiny gasped. "How dare you say such lies, you liar!"
"If you had beauty, then why is that boy you like not after you?"
She pulled the pillow over her head and screamed. Jeremy rolled his eyes.
"If you do that any longer, you'll suffocate."
Destiny angrily threw the pillow at him. She yelled, "Leave me alone about my love life!"
"Whatever. Aren't you going to get up? It's twelve in the afternoon."
"I have nothing to do 'til two."
"Why? Have work?"
"Yes and aren't you going to leave?"
"No. You need someone to cook for you. You can't live on take-out forever. Besides, I got no where else to go."
"Do you plan to stay here forever?"
Jeremy shrugged. "How should I know? I'm not the seer. My older sister is. I'm just a half-demon. A fire type."
"Whatever. Don't you need to eat lunch?"
"Yes of course."
"Then get out of bed. I'm cooking and it will be ready in about ten minutes." and Jeremy walked to the kitchen.
She mumbled to herself, "What in the name of God is happening here?"
About ten minutes later, the table was fulled with pancakes. Why pancakes when it's lunch? I have no idea. Maybe cause I couldn't think of anything else? Anyway, Destiny drooled. Jeremy looked at her.
"Are you alright?"
"Food. Delicious food. Pancakes. My favorite."
Jeremy anime sweatdropped. "Okay...well, dig in."
"Don't mind if I do." and Destiny gobbled the plate of pancakes in front of her.
"You're going to choke if you eat that fast."
At the end of that sentence, she started choking and coughing. Weird coincidence.
"What did I tell you. I was right." and he patted her on the back. Destiny stopped choking and resumed eating.
"Geez. You're a pig."
"Oh shut up." she said with her mouth full.
"Didn't your parents teach you any manners."
She swallowed and said, "Yes but I prefer to not use them around you."
Jeremy rolled his eyes. "I'm going to need some clothes."
"Do I look like I'm made of money?"
"If you're not, how can you live by yourself?"
"Well, I only pay for myself. I don't have enough for other people."
His eyes turned red and fire appeared in his hands. "Buy me some clothes or I'll blast you with this."
"Okay, okay. Put those mini fire away."
Jeremy's eyes turned back to normal as the fire dimished. "I'm glad you see it my way."
Destiny rolled her eyes and mumbled, "If I had fire on my side, I'll get my way too."
"I heard that!"
