This is a tale set within the Norse pantheon as told by Gna, handmaiden of Frigg, a messenger Goddess, and Goddess of the wind. It is a sequel, or continuance, of sorts, to my original tale, "The Hunt," which outlines the circumstances surrounding the relationship between Ull and Skadi (which has been rumored to be romantic). This is (like "The Hunt") is a work of fiction and is not based on any known Norse myth, but is rather based on my view of the personalities of the Gods of the Norse pantheon. I have written both tales with both the "Edda" and the "Poetic Edda" by my side, know quite a bit about Viking life, and have tried to remain true to geography, God aspects, clothing, food, etc, etc. I don't know whether or not to continue with this story as I am momentarily experiencing writer's block, so any and all reviews would be helpful. And please don't just say, "Nice work, keep writing," because specific constructive criticism helps much more than sugar-coated flattery.
Anywho, this was a super-long author's note and if you've read this far, I have much to thank you for. Now please read the tale and review!
