Seasons pass,

A year flows by,

The weather changes

Who knows why?

Spring floats down,

All lively and sweet;

Plants bloom, babies grow,

Birds chirp and tweet.

Summer imposes

Its reign as king;

Heat like a pounding hammer

Summer does bring

Autumn flows in,

Gracefully swirling;

The leaves join it

In its twirling and whirling

Winter sneaks in

And cruelty rules;

Icy cold and snow

Are its terrible tools

Next spring comes back,

And the cycle starts again

If it will ever stop

Nobody knows when.
