A/N: A quick one-shot I thought up of. A side story to An Angel's Destiny. Tory's seven. Jeremy and Terra are five. Kisetsu is three.
Tory and Jeremy were walking in the gardens. The Indael princess was visiting and had disappeared after lunch. They hadn't met each other since Tory was sort of sick and had stayed in her room the entire afternoon but now she was feeling better. Her mother had ordered her to look after Jeremy. Kisetsu was inside, playing with her mother.
"I'm bored, Tory. Isn't there anything to do?" Jeremy whined.
"Why are you asking me?"
"Cause you've been here longer than me."
"Well you have."
"I never said I haven't."
"You didn't sound like you believed me."
"Are you always this irritating?"
"I don't know. What does it mean?"
Tory sighed. "Nevermind."
"What was that?" Jeremy asked.
"A cry for help. It's coming from the-oh no." Tory rushed towards the oak tree grove.
"Wait up, Tory!" and Jeremy ran after her.
Tory stopped when she saw a girl up in a tree with a bunch of dogs on the bottom, barking at her. The girl had green hair with brown eyes and was wearing a light green shirt with a blue skirt. She wore an emerald necklace.
"Geez. What did you do to provok them?" Tory asked. Jeremy appeared right behind her.
"Whoa!" he exclaimed when he saw the situation.
"I DID NOTHING!!!" the Indael princess defended. A dog nearly scratched her. "AH!"
Tory crossed her arms. "These dogs are harmless. They won't attack unless you provoked them. What did you do?"
"JUST GET ME OFF OF THIS TREE!!!!" Terra shouted.
"I'll do that if you tell me what you did." Tory bargined.
"FINE! I'LL TELL YOU!" Terra yelled. She paused.
"Well...." Tory and Jeremy waited for an answer.
"I FORGOT!" she shouted.
Tory and Jeremy dropped to the ground. Tory walked up to them but the dogs didn't attack her. "These dogs obey only the Kouki family. I could order them to do whatever I want."
Terra bit her lower lip. "I INSULTED THEM!"
Tory raised an eyebrow. "Why exactly did you insult them?"
Terra sat down on the branch and held on to it. "They were looking at me like they were gonna eat me."
Jeremy burst out laughing as he walked right next to Tory. "These dogs.....are harmless. They won't...attack unless....ordered to."
Tory whistled. The dogs stopped barking and lined up in a straight line like those army men. "Go back to your house." The dog barked and ran off.
"How do I get down?!" Terra yelled.
"JUMP!" Tory shouted back.
"IT'S TOO HIGH!!"
"Jeremy, you're catching her."
"WHAT!? Why me?! You're stronger than me."
"Jeremy....." Tory glared at him.
"FINE! JUMP!" and he held out his arms.
"Are you gonna catch me?"
Terra jumped down and landed on Jeremy and Jeremy ended on the floor with Terra on top him. They both got up and Terra suddenly hugged Jeremy.
"MY HERO!" Terra shouted.
"MY EARS!" Jeremy screamed.
"I love you!" Terra exclaimed.
"I don't even know your name."
"Terra of the Indael kingdom. Everyone know who you two are. Tory and Jeremy Kouki. The heirs of Heaven."
"Uh huh...." Tory was scared of her hyperness and Tory doesn't get scared easily.
"I need air....help Tory." Jeremy cried.
Tory sighed and waved her hands and the air behind the two managed to push the two apart. Tory grabbed Jeremy's shirt collar and dragged him towards the palace.
"Wait up my love!" and Terra ran after them.
Tory dragged Jeremy even faster towards the palace. She made it inside and quickly ran to her room and locked the door. Terra was outside, banging against the door.
"This is absolute torture." Jeremy said. "Can't you do anything to stop her?"
"No. Her parents have to stop her." Tory said solemnly, sitting on the bed.
"TERRA! WE'RE GOING HOME!"
"Perfect timing." the two siblings said.
"AW! BUT MOTHER-"
"NO BUTS! YOU'RE COMING HOME! NOW!"
"BUT I WANT TO BE WITH MY LOVER!"
"I DON'T CARE IF YOUR LOVER OR YOUR SOULMATE IS HERE! YOU'RE COMING HOME RIGHT THIS MINUTE!"
They heard footsteps outside the door and the protests of Terra. Tory and Jeremy poked their head out and saw Terra being dragged off by her mother. Suddenly, Sere came with Kisetsu. Jeremy kneeled down in front of Sere.
"Please! The next time she comes here, hide me or kill me."
