She let the bottle drop from her grip, shattering sll over the hard wood floor. He couldn't leave her now, he just couldn't.
"You..why?" Tears welled up in her eys as he waved his hand dismissively.
"I got what I want, good-bye." With that he got up from the bed, pulling on his clothes. He gave her one last look before climbing out the window and sliding down the drain pipe. He stopped under the window, his sneakers sinking into the fresh muck. A few tears welled up in his eyes, but he sniffed them back. It had to end and this was the only way he could do it. He needed her to hate him or this might happen again. He couldn't bear to keep breaking her heart.
She nervously plated with the cheap nail polish sloppily painted on. Little pink metallic falkes fell and decorated her green bedspread. No matter how hard she tried she couldn't get him out of her mind. His face was playing tricks on her mind, bouncing around inside of it.
