race's kiss

He kissed me because I was white

To show he didn't care about the fights

In the end he did get shot

His face was lifeless and he was gone

I didn't even know who he was

All I knew is he stood true and strong

He said this war is pointless

For all that it was

We are all the same in our minds and body

There is no line between us

Nothing stops us from being together

So why do we fight this pointless battle

In a way it is quite shameful

All of us fighting because we don't look the same

How could it have got this way

That none of us can walk the street safe

Only if we stuck together

And didn't question each race

We would all still be here

With unity, peace and grace
