It'll Be Better Tomorrow

The storms have come and gone

Shock sometimes remains

It is harder to ignore anger

Especially over matters no human can control

Let the feelings go; not all emotions are inopportune

These things shall pass away

We shouldn't blame or berate

Through this time we should reach out

Realizing we're all human beings

Whatever our background

Let us continue to say

"It'll be better tomorrow"

No matter how many tomorrows it takes

The sun hides behind the clouds

Waiting to break through the gray barrier

Shining brightly, drying away tears shed

Knowing that pain too is only temporary

Realizing the sun will shine

And we shall rise once again.
