Been toying with this idea for a while- how both water and fire are used as forms of purifaction and cleansing. I might expand on it, but right now I just wanted to write a poem. Oh, and look at the first stanza upside down- it looks like a drop! The second one could also pass for an upside down flame. I swear that was totally unintentional.

Water
Cascading ripples
Of purity and peace
Drowning the body
Worries dissolve
Washed away
Cleansing-
Purify

Fire
Violent flames
Of crimson and hunger
Licking at flesh
To the white bone
Searing pain
Cleansing-
Purify

Two forces meet
Clash and rebel
The apocalypse ensues
From these star-crossed lovers:
Water turns to steam
And Fire dies
Cleansing-
Purify
