Dark Figure

A shadow cast upon the murkey fog

Slithers in my general direction

Blind, for shadows do not possess eyes

It wanders, but not without aim

Deaf, for shadows have no ears

It knows not of my fearful cries

Yet can sense my apprehension

This shadow is unique from the rest

This shadow can feel

Feel my pitiful whimpers

Not as sound

But as the icey fear corrupting my heart

The fright this shadow instills within me

As it slinks on past

And strands me with my befuddlement
