Examination

I think I might be,
Possibly could be,
Probably should be,
Thinking I love you.

It could be
I'm thinking
I've known you
For years, and
It might be
I'm hoping
You watch me
With fear, or
Possibly
Look to me
When I turn
My eyes,
So when I
Look at you,
You put on
A guise and
Alter your stare;
Then when you look
At me, I am
Then unaware,
Or else I'm
Imagining you
Probably care,
In which case
I'm a fool with
Fool dreams
To spare.

But,

I think I might be,
Possibly could be,
Probably should be,
Thinking I love you.

I'll wait in the
Morning for
You to arrive,
And I'll watch,
Quite intently,
For my chance
To say "hi,"
And I talk to
You coyly, while
Thinking I'll die
If you could see
What we did
In my dreams;
When I walked
With you, and you
Stayed with me,
And together
We kissed
Innocently, but
You couldn't know
What we did in
My dream, unless
Fate by some
Chance sent you
The same dream
And then I
Dreamed of you
While you
Dreamed of me
And in both
Our dreams
We kissed
Innocently,
But I know
It's not so
In reality.

But,

I think I might be,
Possibly could be,
Probably should be,
Thinking I love you

I now seem to
Think of you
More than before,
And long for
A day when you
Might see more
In me than just
A close friend
Whose gender
Is fair, and whose
Feminine features
Accent what
I wear, which
By the by are
Chosen each day
With the ill
Founded hope you
Will look my way,
And then deep
In your heart
Your soul will
Then say,
"Dear God,
How can it be
That I never
Saw her before
In that way? "

I think of all this.
I reflect on these facts.
I ponder each meaning.

My conclusion is this.

I see that I truly,
Believe absolutely,
Understand verily,
Know that I love you.
