Amethystdawn: This is a "Sijo" poem. This type of poetry originated at Korea I think, and a certain patter is observed. There are supposed to be forty to fifty syllables, and it's like the Korean equivalent of a Haiku. Anyways, moving on. This is my first. It was originally made for English class last quarter but the eeevil blob decided TO FORGET ABOUT IT, thus wasting my time and effort. Hope you guys like it. Please read and review.
Rain falls from the gloomy sky above,
As I stand alone on the empty plain
My hot tears mingle with cold droplets
And I wondered with sad eyes raised,
If God is also crying in pain.
