Goodbye To The Fairies

There is a river,

Flown through the mystics of time.

A home to the winged children, fairies,

As they sing their rhymes.

It has witnessed the glitz and splendor,

The most magical moments arise,

The ways of the soaring fairies,

Laughter glittering in their dewdrop eyes.

They play in the fields so green,

Their tiny feet gleefully skip in dance,

But the only thing keeping them alive is love.

Suddenly war has killed their last chance.

Goodbye to the fairies,

Their chatter and laughter turned to screams and cries.

The world consumed in violence, doesn't even notice the last fairy sigh.
