Dear Diary: Summary

She was always the quiet type, the loser who walked the halls with her head down. She made it through high school without speaking a word to anyone and that was just how she liked it. She had no friends, let alone a best friend. But she didn't feel lonely; in fact, she knew that the only person she needed was herself. But this girl who seemed unnoticeable to anyone caught the attention of a rich, bad boy who helped himself at doing anything he wanted. At first, she was nobody to him. But after "the incident" occurred, he couldn't help but keep that nobody in his mind. So what's to happen next?

Prologue

Waking up from the cold morning and untangling herself from her sheets, Moonlyte got up from her four poster bed and stretched. She felt great that morning for some odd reason and it didn't appeal to her that maybe this could be a good day for her. She prepared herself for the day. She brushed her pearly, white teeth; combed her long, brown hair and dressed into an outfit that showed off her curves and tiny body.

She was beautiful and she knew it. She took a good look at herself in the mirror and smiled in self satisfaction. But it wasn't long until she changed her outfit into her school uniform, which she intentionally ordered to be two times her size, along with a skirt that covered so much of her that she looked like a nun. She braided her straight brown hair into two parts on each of her sides. And to add the final touch, she put on thick rimmed glasses that engulfed her beauty.

She looked at herself once more and sighed. She wasn't what you would call "attractive" anymore, but she smiled at this realization. Of course she wasn't attractive, that was her intention.

Walking downstairs, she prepared to see the worst. Broken glass lay on the floor and the food from last night's dinner was scattered about the dining table. They were probably left after the fight.

Moonlyte was used to this. Her parents would occasionally fight at dinner, the maid would clean up in the morning, and it would start over the next day. She avoided stepping on glass and tiptoed her way out the door slinging her back pack over her shoulder. She wouldn't get a ride from her parents; they were either already in work or just didn't care to drive her. She didn't have a personal driver either. Thus she walked to school.

Sweet Kyang Min High. What could she say about the school? She was stuck in a world where a person's social status rested on their class, looks, and money. But she knew that if she strutted around looking pretty, she would end up as one of those shallow idiots; which is what she tried her hardest to avoid. She didn't want to partake in the materialistic life. Those types were social Nazis living in a false world of insecurities.

She didn't need that. And so, to avoid it, she kept a low profile. Here she is now, with no friends, no one to talk to, and no courting. It was just how she liked it.
